I just got back from an unforgettable trip to Scotland with my mum and sister. We kicked things off on the Caledonian Sleeper Train (not much sleep, but a memorable experience!).
We explored Fort William and the stunning Isle of Skye — ancient castles, soaring golden and sea eagles, and even seals giving birth up close. The landscapes were breath-taking: rugged mountains, dramatic coastlines, and wild weather that shifted from heavy rain to sudden sunshine. For Harry Potter fans, riding the Jacobite Express (the Hogwarts train!) was amazing!
Here’s why this matters to YOU:
Life gets hectic. Creativity stalls. Energy dips. We all get caught up in routines that drain us — work deadlines, endless to-dos, stress. But taking intentional time to refresh isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity.
When you pause, you invite clarity. You open the door for fresh ideas. You reconnect with what fuels your passion. This is true for artists — who often seek inspiration — but even more for those who don’t think of themselves as “creative” at all. Refreshing your mind and spirit helps everyone unlock more joy, focus, and productivity.
My trip reminded me that real inspiration often comes from stepping outside your comfort zone — trying something new, embracing unpredictability, and immersing yourself in beauty bigger than yourself.
