How it Works
Stage 1 - Let’s talk about your ideas
I’d love to hear what you have in mind, whether you’re drawn to a particular colour, a certain mood, or simply the feeling you’d like a painting to bring into your space.
We’ll talk about the size & style that would work best for you, and I’ll put together a proposal based on our conversation.
Once you’re happy with the proposal, a deposit confirms your commission slot.
Stage 2 - Into the studio
Based on our initial conversation, I’ll create a few little painted sketches to get us started and help guide the painting as it takes shape.
My process is playful and expressive. I love building up layers, exploring colour and seeing where things take me. I follow my intuition and let the painting evolve, creating something full of life, colour and energy. That’s part of the fun!
Once it’s finished, I’ll share it with you for approval. If a few little tweaks are needed, we can look at those together. And if it doesn’t feel quite right, that’s absolutely fine too. There’s no obligation to go ahead, and your deposit can go towards a future artwork.
Stage 3 - The finishing touches
Once your painting is approved, I’ll carefully finish it with a protective varnish and prepare it.
Your artwork will be ready to hang, so all that’s left is to find the perfect spot for it in your home and enjoy living with it.
I love the thought that a painting created in my studio will go on to become part of someone else’s everyday life.
I can help with framing if you choose or suggest some framers - or simply hang it on the wall and enjoy.
