An interview with Julie Lucas for Hampshire Life magazine was a wonderful opportunity to share the story behind my paintings, my inspirations, and my journey as an artist. Opening up about the more personal aspects of my life felt both vulnerable and empowering, and I hope that sharing my experiences might help others feel a little less alone.
Damson Hill Cottage
I was delighted to collaborate with Damson Hill Cottage in Swanmore to host a still-life painting supper workshop, bringing together a love of art, a relaxed creative experience and the pleasure of sharing it with others. It was a wonderful opportunity to encourage people to slow down, explore their creativity and discover the joy of painting in a warm and welcoming setting.
Sweetbriar Flowers
A lovely collaboration with Sweetbriar Flowers. Emma Simmons provides seasonal flowers for my flower painting workshops. Her blooms are the perfect inspiration for our still-life painting, bringing colour, texture and a little extra beauty to the sessions. I just love to share these stunning flowers with my students. They are a constant source of inspiration.
