Original Artwork by REBECCA HURST

There’s something so fascinating about old doors and the stories they hold.

This painting was inspired by a photograph I took at Petworth House, National Trust, in Sussex. I was drawn to the beautiful marks, the lines and the colours.

We often walk past these hidden gems without really noticing them. I wanted to capture and highlight these small, often overlooked details and celebrate the beauty in the things we might otherwise miss.
