This painting was inspired by the wild beauty of Dorset’s heather-covered landscapes on the New Forest, where colour, texture and movement come together in such a powerful way.
I wanted to capture that feeling of standing amongst the landscape - the sense of freedom, energy, spaciousness and renewal that comes from being surrounded by nature.
